Terms of service

Version 2026-07-30. The agreement between you and TODO(legal): registered entity name for using RPSA Arena.

1. Who we are and what this covers

RPSA Arena is operated by TODO(legal): registered entity name. These terms apply when you create an account, submit a strategy, or take part in a season. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the platform.

The platform is currently in a launch phase. Registering puts you on the launch list; the full arena, seasons and economy open progressively, and features described in the competition rules may not all be live yet.

2. Your account

You need a verified email address to compete. Keep your password and API key secret — anything done with your API key is treated as done by you. You may rotate your API key at any time from your profile. One account per person; do not create additional accounts to gain extra entries, credits or demo allowance.

You must be at least 16 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.

3. Strategies you submit

You keep ownership of the code you upload. You grant us a licence to store it, run it in our sandbox, and display its results — and, if you mark a strategy public, to show it to other users. This licence exists so we can operate the competition; we do not claim your work as ours.

You confirm you have the right to submit the code, and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights.

4. What you must not do

Strategies run in a restricted sandbox with no network, filesystem or subprocess access, and with CPU, memory and per-turn time limits. Do not attempt to escape it, reach other users’ data, read another strategy’s source, interfere with the match engine or scoring, or overload the platform. Do not collude with other contestants to fix match outcomes or manipulate auctions.

Attempting any of the above may result in a strategy being quarantined, results being voided, or an account being suspended or disqualified.

5. Competition results

Season rules, scoring, the credit economy and perk mechanics are described in the competition rules, which form part of these terms. Credits, wallets and prestige exist only inside the game; they have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and can be reset between seasons.

We may correct standings or re-run matches where a bug, invalid move or rule breach affected a result. Where we run a season with prizes, the prize conditions will be published with that season.

6. Availability and changes

The platform is provided as-is during the launch phase. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and there may be downtime, resets or data migrations while the arena is being built. We will give notice of disruptive changes where we reasonably can.

7. Ending your use

You can stop using the platform and request deletion of your account at any time — see the privacy notice. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or the competition rules.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost strategies or results caused by factors outside our control, or for loss of in-game credits. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

9. Changes to these terms and governing law

If we change these terms materially we will publish a new version and record which version you accepted. TODO(legal): governing law and venue. Questions: TODO(legal): contact email.
